Kobkaew Opasjumruskit is a researcher and computer scientist at DLR – German Aerospace Center at the Institute of Data Science. She holds a Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany, a Master and Bachelor degrees in electrical engineering from the Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She is particularly interested in smart system technologies, such as IoT, Industrie 4.0, and machine learning. As a researcher in a space domain, as well as an information technology domain, she realizes how urgent it is to cope with the myriad amount of data. More importantly, how we can sustainably transform raw data into discoverable, sharable and manageable knowledge.
